Action against poverty

Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela (18 July 1918 – 5 December 2013) was a South African anti-apartheid revolutionary, political leader, and philanthropist. He studied law at the University of Fort Hare and the University of the Witwatersrand before working as a lawyer in Johannesburg.

Nelson Mandela served as President of South Africa from 1994 to 1999.

Nelson Mandela awarded 2017 Nobel Peace Prize for outstanding contributions in peace.

“We need to restore and reaffirm the dignity of the people of Africa and the developing world. We need to place the eradication of poverty at the top of world priorities. We need to know with a fresh conviction that we all share a common humanity and that our diversity in the world is the strength for our future together.” – Nelson Mandela
